Troop 688 was established on January 27, 2019. It is an all-girls Scouts BSA troop based in Cupertino, California, with more than 40 members from Cupertino, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, Santa Clara, Campbell, and Fremont.
Troop 488 is the first Scouting troop dedicated to youth with disabilities. We use the EDGE method—Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, and Enable—to help both Scouts and their parents fully experience all that Scouting offers. While we are supported by volunteer Scouts, many from other CASA troops, a parent or legal guardian is required to be present at all times to share in this meaningful journey and the lifelong friendships and unique experiences it brings.
